In order to maintain peace between the warring countries and to give succor to the victims developed and developing countries came together and build an organization-UNESCO.

The UNESCO has its own constitution focusing on the welfare of people, however, as name suggests, the message of UNESCO is simple

  • Education is your right, if you don’t have; acquire this – if you have, then spread the same to others.
  • Acquire scientific knowledge to strengthen your self, and your surroundings; do not use any such know how to harm someone, rather build your strength and make this world more beautiful than it was ever by strengthening others.
  • Your culture is rich, celebrate it and ask others to take part as well. Respect other’s culture and make their celebration more enjoying by participating with them when they celebrate.
  • UNESCO’s New Delhi chapter, organization’s first decentralized office in Asia, was established in 1948. At its inception, it dealt with science and technology programmes in eleven South and Central Asian countries, i.e. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Iran, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. In course of time it also incorporated communication, education and culture programmes. This Office also acts as an Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau for Communication and Information.
