IBPS CWE for Bank PO/ MT
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is a reputed and well known independent body that mainly conducts testing for recruitment and training for such tests, and caters mainly to the financial sector (banks or financial institutions.)
In 2011, the Indian Banks' Association (IBA) authorised the IBPS to conduct a Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruitment of bank probationary officers (PO) and management trainees (MT.) The first CWE for bank PO/ MT recruitment was conducted by IBPS on 18 September, 2011 for selecting POs and MTs to 19 participating public sector banks.
