Campus Admission Details
For admission through CEE The procedure for appearing CEE usually starts in the month of March/April every year. The Director of Technical Education, Assam, advertise in the leading local newspaper(s) and in the Assam Gazette about it. Apply for appearing in CEE for B.E. program The followings apply to the candidates seeking admission under reserved categories: Candidates applying against the reserved quota of children and grandchildren of Freedom Fighters must attach two certificates, one from the Principal Private Secretary to the Chief Minister, Assam, certifying the Freedom Fighter, and another from the Deputy Commissioner, or Official authorized by the Deputy Commissioner, stating clearly, the direct relationship of the candidate with the freedom fighter.

Placement Aid:
Since establishment in 1955, Assam Engineering College (AEC) graduates were in high demand in all sectors all throughout. The Training & Placement Cell (TPC) became an active functional unit of the college from the year 2002. The TPC initiated interaction with various organizations and industries to impress upon them and organize campus recruitments in AEC. Over the years the TPC has been providing opportunities to the students to prove their mettle and caliber in various areas starting from the ICT sectors to the Core industries, and they have been reasonably successful in their ventures.
