Pearl Academy has organised the latest feature of their “What’s Next” event trail – What’s Next in Digital Entertainment. This event aims at enlightening students and participants on media, communication and entertainment, and, how entertainment is changing from traditional, to more modern inventions in the form of digitisation and automation. The market for content is dramatically increasing with more and more users gaining access to digital platforms across the country, alongside the growing influence of social media. The event is set to take place on 15th March, at the Waterstones Hotel, in Mumbai. 

The main motive of this event is to analyse the impact of technology and automation in the form digitisation, on the way we are perceiving and valuing entertainment. It aims to impart knowledge on the escalating dynamism of digital entertainment today. Monica Shergill

Monica Shergill has led the evolution from traditional broadcasting to digital broadcasting. Apart from curating original content, this platform provides on-demand video viewing of all Viacom18 channels (Colours, VH1, and MTV).

Dipanjan Das

Dipanjan is the CEO of Greycells18 Media Ltd. The media giant uses technology to offer online education and learning resources for secondary and higher secondary students in India.
