MBA applicants should have passed a bachelor’s degree exam with at least 50 percent marks in the qualifying exam. 45 percent marks are required for reserved categories. The degree should have taken at least three years. MCA candidates also should have passed a bachelor’s degree of at least three years with minimum 50 percent marks in the qualifying exam and Mathematics at the 10+2 level. Minimum marks are 45 percent for reserved category candidates

If the qualifying degree was obtained via distance mode, it needs to be recognise by the joint committee of the UGC, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Distance Education Council (DEC). Candidates currently appearing for the final year degree examination must also be eligible for ICET 2013. For 2013, qualifying marks in the test are 25 percent. No minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates.
