TISSNET 2018 is an entrance exam to seek or gain admission in one of the many campuses of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). It has campuses at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad and Guwahati. TISSNET is a must to get an entry into TISS for the many courses it offers. However, it is also necessary to know if you are eligible for the courses. Find out more on TISSNET 2018 below.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A graduate from a recognized institute or university.
  • Graduation should be complete in 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern to be eligible for TISSNET 2018.
  • Final year graduates can apply for TISSNET as long as they provide a certificate from the university or institute that they are currently studying there.

TISSNET: Application Process

The application form for TISSNET 2018 is available online. Once you fill in the form, you can submit the application fees either online or offline. Follow the steps mentioned below to register yourself for TISSNET.

  • Application form will be available on the official website, i.e. www.tiss.edu.
  • Click on the registration link and register yourself with a valid email ID.
  • Post registration you will receive a Username and Password which is to be used to fill in the application form.
  • Upon completion of the application form, you will be redirected to the payment page where you can choose one of the methods mentioned there to complete the application fee payment.
  • The payment has to be done within 3 days of filling out the application form.
  • Scanned photograph and necessary documents are to be uploaded as well.

TISSNET 2018 Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted in the first week of January 2018 in the various exam centres of TISS. Before you sit for the exam, you should know the exam pattern for you to prepare yourselves well.

  • There are 4 sections in the exam: Social Sensitivity, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Ability, Knowledge on contemporary issues.
  • The total duration of the exam is 1 hour 40 mins.
  • There is no negative marking in the exam.
  • The exam is MCQ based.
