Calcutta University Invites Applications for LLM Programme 2016 - 2018
The Department of Law, University of Calcutta has announced admissions open for the Masters of Law (LLM) programme for the academic session 2016-2018. Interested candidates can apply before 23rd September. The admission will be conducted on the basis of a written examination which will be held on 25th September, 2016.
The institutes offering the LLM programme in Kolkata are, Department of Law, Calcutta University, Jogesh Chandra Chaudhury Law College and Surendranath Law College.

Forms are also available at the University and can be collected by paying Rs.400 for general category and Rs 200 for SC/ST/OBC/PWD from 5th September onwards.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates with BA LLB (Hons)/BA LLB/LLB (Hons)/LLB examination can apply for LLM programme offered by Calcutta University.
Written Test
It will be a written test which will be held on 25th September that will decide the fate of the students. The test will carry 100 marks including MCQ section (60 marks) and a Subjective section (40 marks) from BA LLB syllabus.
