CBSE announces re-exam dates for 2018 exams

CBSE has released the dates for the re-examination of the Class 12th Economics paper. The exam will be held on 25th April, 2018. The exam will be conducted for all candidates except those studying in schools abroad.

For class 10th students, details are still being worked out according to the board. Education Secretary, Anil Swarup, told the media that after initial probes, it has been found that the leak was restricted to Delhi and Haryana. If a re-exam is to happen, it will take place only in these two regions and will be conducted in July 2018.

The board also announced that all other examinations will take place as scheduled and that Class 12th candidates who will be sitting for the Economics re-exam would be appearing from the same allotted centers with the same Admit Card.

This announcement came just a day after the Union Minister announced that the re-exam dates can be expected on Monday. It is still unclear how this would affect the CBSE results announcement this year. As per regular schedule, the results are announced in the month of May, which may be now delayed.
