Delhi government introduces free entrance coaching for minority students 

The Delhi government under Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has launched a scheme called 'Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Viskas Yojana' where SC/ST students will get a free entrance coaching for civil services, judicial services, banking, engineering, medicine, and other competitive examinations.

Initially, 100 students will be eligible for the benefit from the scheme and later, it will extended to another 5,000 students. The assistance will also depend on the family income. For families where income is less than 2 lakhs, the students will get 100% assistance, while those families where the income is between 2 and 6 lakhs, the eligible students will get 75% assistance. Apart from coaching, students will also get a stipend of Rs 2,500 per month.
