IIT JEE Main 2017 Admit Card Released

The admit card for IIT Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2017 has been released on 14 March. The candidates can download their admit cards from the official website (jeemain.nic.in). The exam will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on 2 April, 2017 for offline mode and 8 & 9 April, 2017 for online mode.

In order to qualify for JEE, students need to have minimum 75% marks in class 12 Board examination. Students belonging to SC/ST category need to have minimum 65% Marks in their class 12 Board exams. However, no weightage will be given to class 12 marks while calculating the JEE Main exam ranks.

After clearing the JEE Main exam, candidates can opt for JEE Advanced for admission to the IITs. JEE Main is conducted in 2 parts: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I (BE/B Tech) will be conducted in both computer-based (online) and paper-Pen (offline) mode while Paper II (B Arch/B Planning) will be conducted in pen-paper mode only.
