IGNOU OPENMAT application date extended to August 21

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for submission of application forms for OPENMAT to 21 August as confirmed by N.P. Singh, registrar of student evaluation division of IGNOU. Admission to the management programmes of the university is done through OPENMAT (OPEN Management Aptitude Test) entrance test which is held twice a year.

Students need to send the form by registered/speed post so as to reach the IGNOU HQ on or before the last date. No other document is required to be submitted along with this form. In case the application form is being filled online, the candidates have to send a demand draft (DD) of Rs 1050 drawn in favour of IGNOU, payable at New Delhi.

The programmes on offer for this session are: Master of Business Administration (MBA), post graduate (PG) diploma in human resource management, PG diploma in financial management, PG diploma in operations management, PG diploma in marketing management and PG diploma in financial markets practice. OPENMAT will be held on 24 September.The entrance test consists of questions on the following topics general awareness, English language, quantitative aptitude and reasoning.
