CAT 2016 registration date extended

CAT (Common Admission Test) is the management aptitude test conducted by the Indian Institute of Managements (IIMs) to evaluate prospective candidates and enroll them to their PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) programs. The exam is conducted online once a year and depending on the CAT scores, group discussion, written ability test and personal interview rounds individuals are selected for admission in IIM. CAT 2016 will be held on December 4 in test centres located across 138 cities.

Previously the management of IIM CAT decided to keep the deadline for online application to 22 September but according to the latest update, the CAT 2016 deadline is extended up to 27 September, which means the candidates are going to get 5 more days to apply for the test. The online registration window will be open till 5:00 p.m. so all the applications must be completed before that.
