Indian Business School Admission Test (IBSAT) begins from tomorrow, 16 December and will continue till 27 December, 2016. IBSAT is the common admission test for admission to MBA/ PGPM program at IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Hyderabad, IBS Dehradun, IBS Jaipur, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai and IBS Pune campuses and PhD program (full-time/part time) at IBS Hyderabad campus.

The last date for IBSAT application was 9 December. IBSAT is a 2 hours computer based test in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) pattern. Candidates are judged on the following topics:

  • Quantitative Techniques
  •   Data Interpretation
  • Data Adequacy
  •   Vocabulary
  • Analytical Reasoning
  • Reading Comprehension

Qualified candidates at the IBSAt exam will be called in IBS Hyderabad for a round of Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Apart from IBSAT 2016 scores, GMAT (2014 onwards)/NMAT 2016 and CAT 2016 scores are also accepted for admission to the IBS colleges.

      Eligibility Criteria for IBSAT 2016

      Two years Management program

      Graduate in any discipline with at least 50% marks from any recognized University. Candidates who do not meet the criteria of completing Graduation will have to submit their ILETS/ TOEFL/ NELT score by May 31, 2017. Applicants in their final year of Graduation can also apply. The last date to submit proof of Graduation for such students is 1 November, 2017.

      PhD program

      Graduate in any discipline and Post Graduate in Management (with specialization in Marketing / Finance / Human Resource Management / Operations from an UGC approved University) with 60% and above marks or Post graduation (full-time) in Economics, Commerce, Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration, Statistics, Mathematics or a professional qualification like CFA / CA / CWA / CS with 60% and above mark.
