CBSE extends deadline to choose NEET 2017 exam centres till March 31

The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) has extended the deadline for candidates appearing for NEET 2017 to choose their exam centres till March 31. The decision was taken after 23 new exam centres were added to the list of already existing 80 exam centres for NEET medical entrance exam. previously, the option to choose the exam centre was open from 24-27 March, 2017

According to the CBSE, 11,35,104 candidates have registered for the exam, which is around 41.42% more than the previous year’s registrations. In 2016, 8,02,594 aspirants had registered for the NEET. The exam will be held in 10 languages— Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Odia and Kannada.

NEET is the single common entrance exam for admission to MBBS/ BDS courses in Medical Council of India (MCI)/ Dental Council of India approved medical/dental colleges. The exam will be held on 7 May, 2017.
