NIOS October 2017 Results

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has declared the results for its October 2017 Senior Secondary (12th standard) exams on the 5th of December, 2017. The results can be checked on the official NIOS website or here.

NIOS is the 'Open School' board of distance education which caters to the needs of a heterogenous group of learners up to the 12th standard. It extends open learning facilities in a phased manner at the secondary level all over the country with its own curriculum and examination.

Some estimates states that the board has over 3.5 lakh students enrolled under its aegis for its 10th and 12th examinations. The NIOS exams are held twice a year, in April-May and in Oct-Nov. The October 2017 exams started on the 6th of October and concluded on the 3rd of November, 2017.

For the October-November Secondary (10th standard) exams, the results are expected to release soon as the board normally takes about 6 weeks to announce the results. Stay tuned for all updates on our sister site,
