Secondary Results for NIOS October 2017 Declared

The results for the Secondary examinations (10th standard) held in October 2017 under the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) aegis was declared on 6th December 2017. The results for the open school system's 10th standard examinations can be checked on the official NIOS website or here.

The Open School board for distance education, NIOS, is a schooling system which caters to the needs of learners and students up to the 12th standard. The system was established to facilitate easy learning in rural and distant areas in the country. The system extends open learning facilities at the secondary level across the country. This is done is a phased manner especially possible since the board has its own curriculum and examination schedule.

The NIOS exams are held twice a year, in the months of April-May and then again in Oct-Nov. The October 2017 exams started on the 6th of October and concluded on the 3rd of November, 2017 for both, secondary and senior secondary.
