SSC issues official notice warning candidates to beware of fake appointment letters

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued an official notice warning candidates to stay away from fake appointment letters offered by unscrupulous people. According to the notice issued, most of the fake appointment letters are being offered for the post of Constables (GD) in Central Armed Police Force (CRPF).

SSC has recently released the results for Constables (GD) exam 2016. Around 57,000 candidates have cleared the exam. As per reports received from some candidates, the fake letters were addressed to the candidates congratulating them on the selection and also talking about conducting an official enquiry about the candidate's whereabouts.

SSC has requested the candidates to be aware of such fake letters and in case they receive any such letter, they should reach out to the regional offices of the commission or get in touch with CAPF to verify the authenticity of such letters. Candidates are requested to check the list of qualified candidates again from the official website of SSC ( and also keep visiting the site for all the latest and authentic update related to selection and recruitment.
